About Day Star and the Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled
The A. V. Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping developmentally disabled adults.
Our purpose is to give the people we serve opportunities to choose the path their lives are to follow, enabling them to gain dignity and self-respect by taking responsibility for themselves and their futures. Daystar Front Reception All participants receive comprehensive social and communication skills training, emphasizing appropriate behaviors in both social and work environments.
The A.V.F.D.D. is funded by the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, and is a vendor agency of the North Los Angeles County Regional Center.
