Agency History
Founded in 1919, Walter Mortensen Insurance has a long history and tradition in Southern California, growing to six offices in the state. In 2005, WMI was acquired by a large Dallas-based agency, Guaranty Insurance Services, with multiple locations throughout Texas.
In April 2011, Guaranty and Walter Mortensen Insurance became part of the INSURICA Insurance Management Network and rebranded in 2012. Our clients now have access to many new resources available through the vast INSURICA network delivered by the same local relationships they've come to trust.
