At New Horizons, our mission is clear: to empower Veterans and individuals with disabilities on their journey toward financial stability, self-care, and independent living. We stand apart as a beacon of personalized support, distinguishing ourselves from larger agencies in our industry. While others offer generic services, NH4L takes pride in recognizing the unique circumstances of each client. Our founder, Yvonne Coulson, intimately understands the challenges faced by Veterans and their families. As the primary caregiver for her husband, a dedicated Air Force veteran and Vietnam War hero, Yvonne navigated the complexities of accessing resources, benefits, and dealing with the VA. This firsthand experience ignited her passion to become an unwavering advocate for Veterans and their families, culminating in the inception of New Horizons 4 Life.
We acknowledge that the path to stability and self-sufficiency can be arduous for Veterans, disabled individuals, and their families. NH4L comprehends the common struggles arising from limited resources and support systems. Many Veterans return home without a robust network, facing challenges exacerbated by PTSD and other disabilities. Through our network of community partners, NH4L provides a steadfast support system, offering advocacy and vital resources. We believe that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are dedicated to being the guiding light on their journey toward a brighter future.
