Do a little networking and share what's new, plus hear from SBA Attorney Gil Hopenstand and Assistant U.S. Attorney Elan Levey.
In response to the passage of the Small Business Reorganization Act in 2019, the Chief Bankruptcy Judge in the Central District of California formed a task force to advise the local small business community about the availability of a new option in bankruptcy. The Small Business Reorganization Act was passed with the goal of streamlining the time and expense of a small business reorganizing, rather than liquidating and go out of business. Task Force members created a presentation about bankruptcy and, more specifically, the Small Business Reorganization Act.
Join SBA Attorney Gil Hopenstand and Assistant U.S. Attorney Elan Levey, members of the Small Business Reorganization Task Force, will discuss options for small businesses in distress, particularly bankruptcy and the Small Business Reorganization Act.
